About SENNANO

The IEEE International Conference on Sensors and Nanotechnology (SENNANO) is an annual conference that brings together researchers, academics, and industry professionals from around the world to share the latest advancements and research findings in the fields of sensors and nanotechnology. The conference provides a platform for experts in these fields to exchange ideas, present their latest research, and discuss the challenges and opportunities in the development and application of sensors and nanotechnology. SENNANO covers a wide range of topics related to sensors and nanotechnology, including nanomaterials and nanofabrication, biosensors and medical devices, environmental sensors, energy harvesting and storage, and wireless sensor networks. The conference includes keynote speeches from leading experts in the field, technical sessions for research paper presentations, and workshops for in-depth discussions and tutorials.

SENNANO is organized by IEEE Sensors and Nanotechnology Council Malaysia Joint Chapter. The conference attracts participants from diverse backgrounds, including academia, industry, and government agencies, and offers a unique opportunity to engage in discussions and collaborations with other experts in the field. The first SENNANO conference was conducted in 2019 at Bayview Hotel, Penang, Malaysia. It was a successful event that witnessed the participation of numerous researchers and industry professionals internationally. The conference featured keynote speeches and technical sessions on a wide range of topics.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic has drastically impacted global travel and events. In response to the pandemic, the second SENNANO conference was conducted virtually in 2021, allowing researchers and industry professionals from different parts of the world to participate in the conference from their homes. Despite the virtual format, SENNANO maintained its high standards, offering a comprehensive event of keynote speeches and technical sessions. It also enabled a broader audience to participate, making it more accessible to researchers from different countries. The international participation in SENNANO highlights the significant interest and importance of the conference in the scientific community. The virtual format also enabled a broader audience to participate, making it more accessible to researchers from different countries.

Overall, SENNANO is an essential event for anyone interested in the latest advancements in sensors and nanotechnology and provides an invaluable opportunity to stay up-to-date on the latest research and connect with leading experts in the field of sensors and nanotechnology.
